UX Foundations: Research
In this course, Amanda Stockwell shared practical techniques to improve UX research skills to better inform fast-moving projects, including an overview of different types of research methodologies, usability tests, and conducting interviews. The course reviewed card sorts, eye tracking, multivariate testing, and desirability testing, going over the best uses of expert reviews, surveys, diary studies, participatory design workshops, and personas. The course covered how to plan and execute effective research, and then explore the best ways to analyze and present findings.

Ethics in the Age of Generative AI
In this course, expert Vilas Dhar equips designers and decision makers to better understand and act on the emerging ethical risks and considerations of generative artificial intelligence. A solid introduction to the ethical concerns around generative AI, learning how to use a framework of ethical analysis to address these concerns.

Designing Strategy
This course gave students the tools to:

Identify a strategic problem that an organization faces, frame it as a question, and brainstorm possibilities to solve it.

Surface and pick the conditions that would need to be true to make the possibility a winning strategy.

Build and conduct different types of tests to help choose among possibilities.

Figma Essential Training: The Basics
This course introduced the features and concepts to start a user experience (UX) design project in Figma, including creating new files, segmenting a project for multiple screens and devices, and adding content. Instructor Brian Wood shared how to work smarter—not harder—using Figma features like layers, reusable formatting, and components. In the final chapters, Brian covered how to add interactions to build functional prototypes that tell the whole design story to collaborators and clients.

How to Research and Write Using Generative AI Tools
Instructor Dave Birss led a crash course in generative AI and understanding how to get started with prompt engineering for ChatGPT and other AI chatbots to upskill as a researcher and a writer.
Dave explained how to create effective prompts that deliver high-quality, task-relevant results, and shared some of the key considerations of working with generative AI.
